A FATHER, A DAUGHTER & A 700° FIRE.
Mark Foster's first job was in a pizza shop, and he never stopped talking about it. Decades later, his daughter Elizabeth decided they should stop talking and open one, together. In July 2018, Section Street Pizza fired its oven for the first time.
Elizabeth designed the room from scratch, and she designed it around families. A downtown dinner spot where parents with kids actually feel welcome, across the street from the Civic Center.
Inspired by her mother's career, Elizabeth built the pizzeria as a workplace for people with special needs. It isn't a program or a pitch. It's just how the room runs.
